What will my child be learning?

The EYFS framework outlines seven areas of learning and development. The three prime areas of learning are; Physical Development, Personal Social and Emotional Development and Communication and Language. There are also four specific areas of learning; Literacy, Maths, Understanding the world and Expressive Arts and Design.   For more information, please see our long term and medium term plans.

How will my child be learning this?

The EYFS framework characterises the three main ways in which your child will learn; through playing and exploring, active learning and through creating and thinking critically. This can be seen through both direct teaching and through play-based activities.
